Please take some time and visit the site, and take a listen to "Ubuntu". . .when you have a second, drop a line and tell me what you think.

Thanks to all who continue to support me as a person. You are my "fan base" and this is my Holiday present to YOU!

Lots of Love!

Thomas, congratulations. Just listened to most of the album. Love the title track - it's my favorite. The whole theme of the album is uplifting. I'm honored to be mentioned in the liner notes... esp since I didn't do a thing! :)

So.... what's next???

Awesome!!! I am so glad that you enjoyed. . .and how could i NOT mention you in the liner notes, when our "conversations" played such a big role in the congealing of the thoughts that became these lyrics, no to mention the eagerness with which you engaged me about the creative process.

Thanks so much for ALL your support! i am lucky to have you as a friend, even if it is a "net friend"!

Nothing for a little while...LOL!!!

Actually it is funny that you like Ubuntu best, it is my least favorite track on the album. I like Carnival and Invitation best.

Right. . .I am required to take a mandatory hiatus between recording projects. . or else get divorced.

Not sure what the next project is going to look like yet. . .haven't even thought about it. . .JR is putting together HIS home studio to record a bunch of his stuff--I will help with vocals and bass tracks for him I am sure. . .maybe keys as well.

I hope to get my next project done EARLY this year tho. . .and then to be able to work on a holiday album next fall going into winter.

Thomas! These are realy good!

Your writing is simple and yet stately, never over-done. Nice one. I think I liked the one about the lies we are told, (I can't see the title whilst I'm writing this). I am so sick of talking to Christians who equate fidelity to God with supporting the war.

Did you ever hear Tutu's speech where after all the commissions into the truth of their country's history he said: 'We have stared the beast in the eye.'?

Regards, and rock on!

Not sure that I heard it (tho I DID listen to alot of the Truth and Reconciliation hearings on NPR), but i know i have read that comment by him, either in one of his works, or in Anjie Krog's SPECTACULAR work "Country of my Skull).

yes, the correlation between Christian fundamentalism and the position of so called "political conservatives" is one of those lies that get people killed (I am listening to that track right now BTW).

There is a belief in many segments of America that to be a good "Christian" one mus unilaterally support the republican party and the values that it holds. I personally think this is a sort of "dumbed down" political involvement. I think the current administration in the US is no more "Pro-Life" than Adolf Hitler was.

There are other lies tho too. .all fed by the popular media, and centered on western consumerism.

Ubuntu is your least favorite, Kimberly??? It's my top pick, then Garden. But feelings about music change the more you listen, I think. You've probably heard them all many times, eh?

So, Ubuntu and Garden are my favs today... who knows for next week!

I heard most of the songs in development (in ALL stages of development,) so that probably colors my views on some of the songs.

I am not wild about this one. I think I like some of your other stuff a lot better.

Don't tell Olivia or Sofia or Drew that. Sam is just happy with ANYTHING Daddy records. However, the others love this album.

Sofia will come crawling as fast as she can when she hears "Invitation" start. Olivia loves "Carnival" and "Broken Circle." Drew listens to "Something Like Odysseus" constantly.

Thomas. I think you've made it. They said the same thing about Dylan.
