Too Good NOT to share.
This was sent to me by one of my former music teachers/choral directors, who was notorious for hating the composer in question. I had to share.
Any of my former music/guitar students can tell you that I place a BIG emphasis on how all western music is about re-inventing the wheel. Once you know four chords, and know how to use them, you can play them all--
let's see--does THIS sound familiar:
"All songs are the Major ONE, the Minor sixth, the major FOUR, and the major FIVE. . you learn this combination of Chords, you can play just about ANYTHING"
Well, it seems that this predates Ben E. King's "Stand by Me" (which later became the Police's "Every Breath You take") by a couple of hundred years.
